The Process
Your Keepsake's Journey
Contact me by text or email and share a few of your favorite pet photographs. Together we will determine which of your favorite pet-poses will be most suitable for your Furrever memento that tells their story. Chose photos that depict their proper colors and clarity. Rest assured that we will collaborate along the way - as it's important to me to meet your expectations. We can even discuss options for multiple pets, or you can choose a special background, special props, whatever makes it your special Keepsake. Optional add-ons are described below.
To begin, I will collect a $20 non-refundable deposit. I will send you progress photos of my work for tweaks and ultimately, final approval. You wont pay until you can declare that you Love IT! and then of course your deposit is deducted from the bottom line. I also offer Stands for a minimal fee - (we can talk about that later).
I accept Paypal or Venmo.
If I'm shipping to you, USPS rates apply and your pkg will be insured and tracked. Your Keepsake will arrive properly packed, tissue wrapped, and include personalized condolences. If you are sending as a gift to another, I will easily add a note stating who their thoughtful friend is who commissioned it for them, Regardless, every beloved memento is always gift wrapped and ready for gift-giving.
Pricing Menu
The Keepsake $65
The Keepsake features your pet's face and shoulders painted as a portrait taken from one of your favorite photographs. This composition ensures excellent facial detail with a pure background, their name and dates.
Alternatively, you may choose to feature their entire body also on a pure background. The tradeoff is that their features are smaller to fit the space, but this composition makes a strong statement and turns out beautifully.,
Add-ons $10 each
The simplicity of a pure portrait is nice , but you may want to say more by adding meaningful elements to complete their story - like a cherished toy, or a special background scene. Any Add-ons provide exactly the same options as The Keepsake or Keepsake Double but adds $10 for each add-on feature you desire, ex: Sophie's add-on above is her stuffed toy.
The Keepsake Double $95
If you would like to honor more than one beloved companion, consider The Keepsake Double. This option allows you to include another pet's image on a single slightly larger Furrever Memorial Stone finished with a pure background, their names and dates (if desired). You may also include Add-ons. This showpiece is perfect for families with multiple furry friends.
The small print
My stock consists of what is commercially labeled as 4"-8" Smooth River Rocks. Be aware that the overall shape will vary from piece to piece - but the portrait will typically fit in a 4"-5" area - with few exceptions. I always choose the most appropriate size and shape to fit the composition.
Furrever Memorial Stones are hand painted with professional artist's acrylic heavy-bodied paints then sealed with two coats of UV protecting Satin Acrylic Varnish for durability.
Longevity cannot be ensured if displayed outdoors in the changing seasons and temps. But I CAN guarantee that If kept indoors it will last generations with no chipping or peeling.
This Artist reserves the rights to utilize electronic images of my paintings for promotional purposes across various social media platforms, This will likely include images of your pet's portrait. Please let me know if you prefer to opt out.
